Boxing: They have a very elaborate and detailed boxing curriculum from Beginner to Advanced Levels. The trainers cater to different members the way they want to train & the Beginners program works on getting the movements and the endurance on point. At Intermediate level, the focus is on speed and agility, while at Advanced its more of real life sparring, semi-contact or full contact depending on the motive behind it. One can choose not to spar at all, but it is mandatory for Pro Level Athletes.
Muay Thai: This intense workout for fitness enthusiasts is the most important art for striking in MMA. In this as well the progression is done according to the Boxing curriculum.
1. Wrestling: Wrestling is a very important art in MMA as it helps in a lot of grappling and takedown aspects. At Crosstrain, they have a well-rounded program which focuses on strength, balance and agility.
2. Jiu-Jitsu-Gi: In Gi, which is the traditional Japanese style of fighting which was later adapted by the Brazilians, fighters spar or roll on a mat. They have multiple programs for all skill levels. This is differentiated as collars & lapels (found on the traditional uniforms, Kimonos) offer different techniques for fighters to fight with.
3. Jiu-Jitsu-No-Gi: No Gi is based on the premise that on the streets or in an octagon the fighter or the defender would not be wearing their Kimonos, hence the art of Jiu-Jitsu should be practiced without the Gi as well to keep one well acquainted with the chokes and submissions without holding collars or lapels.
